What was the highlight of Home Sweet Home

Worth it! Not flashy but rustic.

Amazing omelets! The property is one of the few places to stay which is directly on the river and has it owns beach and jetty to swim. We woke up every morning with amazing views from our bedroom window.

Amazing host, the kids are so lovely and swimming in the river was so nice. We also had really tasty dinner there. We would absolutely stay back again.

Great Homestay

The property is right on the river with beautiful views and the host family is amazing. Booked a dorm room, but was upgraded to a private room. Also the host drove me to paradise cave one afternoon. Dinners are a great value for what they provide - don’t miss it. Spent a lot of time lounging on the hammock and swimming in the river. Initially planned on staying three days, but ended up staying eight days. I’ll be back.

Amazing

I had the best stay at Home Sweet Home! It made my stay in Phong Nha perfect. The family are so sweet and the children are adorable. They helped me to play my trips and let me use a motorbike and a push bike to explore. Would definitely stay again

Such a lovely family home right on the river.

Such a lovely family home right on the river. The family go out there way to help you. Beds are really comfortable and they have a great hot shower. Wake up with a swim in the river, a tasty breakfast, and good coffee. They have hammocks and a chill out area with an amazing view. Just a short bicycle ride into the town. Don’t miss out on the amazing family dinner every evening! All round great stay!

I loved EVERYTHING about this place.

I loved EVERYTHING about this place. The view, the bed, the shower pressure but most importantly the host! I enjoyed having dinner with this beautiful family. And also the dogs and cats! This is a lovely place in front of the river and a big mountain. All you see is nature. This is the place to stay at in Phong Nha. ️

Chill by the riverside

The Homestay is located at the end of the town directly by the river, so you can take a refreshing swim anytime you plase. The Hosts are super friendly and very helpful, I got picked up from the bus at 4 am! I really enjoyed just realxing in the hammocks out back and joking around with the kids who also live there. I would definitely recommed spending a few days in this authentic and super laidback place! The bed is comfy and the rooms have AC as well as a Fan. I would also recommend eating dinner with the family as it is wholesome experience nad the food is damn tasty.

Absolutely brilliantly, beautiful and fun.

Bed was very comfortable, stayed in the 6 bed dorm. You have a choice of air con or fan. Breakfast is included and great! You can pay additional small amount of money for lunch / Dinner ( portions are fab ). I swam in the river out back with the kids and the experience is priceless! AMAZING. MUST SEE. The family themselves are soooo friendly and absolutely adorable. I am leaving for Ninh Binh with my heart full of laughs, smiles and lots of care! The family gave us the push bikes to go off in to the town with no extra cost.

Best place in Vietnam!

Absolutely wonderful place! It's the last house in the village, right on the river, so quiet and peaceful and incredibly picturesque. Our room opened right onto a riverfront terrace with hammocks and steps down to the water. We extended our stay by two nights and I still wish it could have been longer. The family is the best. Opt in for the family dinner every night. It's amazing food and amazing company!

Very friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. Thee location is beautiful. The family was very helpful to bring us from and to the bus station as well as for planing the activities. Once again the family was very nice :) Also the food was amazing
